"The Lubitel Experiment" is my first foray into analog photography (ie, film). The Lubitel 166 is an old, Soviet-era Twin Lens Reflex camera (kind of looks like a box with two little lenses...and all the instructions are in Russian). I bought it for $40 on ebay from someone in the Ukraine and have found it to be a very good little camera that allows for complete manual shooting (no lightmeter, etc.). Other than converting some color photos to black and white and playing with contrast, photos in the "The Lubitel Experiment" gallery do not benefit from any other post-production once the negatives were scanned and digitized. All effects are created manually through double and triple exposures as well as cross-processing slide film to alter color and saturation.
